From advice to strategy, iuxta provides independent commercial and financial advice grounded in experience and long‑term client relationships.

Over the years, Tony has formed strong relationships with clients in an advisory capacity, working alongside owners and management teams on a wide range of business issues as their commercial and financial counsel. This has involved improving business performance and supporting clients to reach their desired strategic outcomes.

The work undertaken through iuxta is intentionally selective and relationship‑driven, allowing the time and focus needed to properly understand each business and the commercial realities it faces.

All engagements through iuxta are underpinned by a guiding principle of client confidentiality. While individual client engagements cannot be disclosed, the nature of this work is outlined below.

Business Succession

  • On the referral of a reputable financial institution, we were able to assist a family to resolve succession issues by restructuring ownership. We aided with a settlement, and organised finance to allow the remaining shareholder to acquire 100% of the company.

  • Appointed as interim CEO to restructure operational staff and address compliance matters, thus shifting the culture to focus on people and customers, which lead to a lift in service levels and customer retention.

  • Assisted owners to separate and sell a division of their business to a targeted purchaser. This included guidance on estimated transaction value and advisory support for the successful transition of employees, customer contracts and equipment to secure the sale agreement.

Strategy and Execution

Customised strategy solutions are at the heart of the work we do. It’s that expertise that has enabled us to:

  • Guide an executive team stalled on the launch of a sales strategy to focus and execute a sales plan to the target market detailed in their brief.

  • Assist management to align their organisational structure and distribution and sales activity, including identification and exit of a non-aligned unprofitable business.

  • Establish strategy to achieve growth targets in manufacturing and wholesale sector.

  • Act as Advisor to the Board.

  • Assist business start-ups to launch products globally in environmental and agri sectors, working alongside the owners to develop offshore markets and grow their business.

Accounting

To enable our clients to concentrate on what they do best, we perform an in-house accounting function for a select number of clients. We take away the ‘hassle factor’ for business owners who are having to manage their own accounting process, freeing them up to focus on the job at hand. 

Too often, we see under-investment and lack of support in these areas where owners and management lack understanding of their cash requirements, their margins, and the triggers that can improve cashflow and profitability.
